The Brady Kennels story: 40 years of family

With a love of dogs and great skill training them, Roger Brady opened his kennel business in 1973. Brady Kennels began with 12 kennels on five acres of land in Fowlerville.

Brady was a police officer in Detroit for five years, and then retired as a firefighter from Southfield. He had a wife and six children, and he realized the hours and danger of his job kept him apart from them.

Brady Kennels remains quite the family affair. Managers Vicki and Jole at the front desk as well as other help when needed.

At the heart of it all is Roger Brady, who continues to run the business today just as he has for the past 40 years, with love and commitment to providing the best home-away-from-home for the four-legged members of our families.

Roger Brady remains a hands-on owner, on site every day, making sure his boarders are well cared for.

This recipe for success has grown Brady Kennels from its original 12 kennels to 81 kennels on 18 acres today.
